The AB-100/200 Series - A.B. Jewelry Machinery The AB-100/200 series of manual and automatic machines are for use in the medical, electronic, and jewelry industries. The machines are used for prototyping and insert molding of small, intricate plastic products using low-cost tooling. The AB-200 line features automatic clamping, injection, and ejection of the mold, with each operation controlled on the front panel. The series has a "no-lube" design, making the machines suitable for medical and other cleanroom applications. The injection capacity is .25 oz., with a maximum mold size of 2.5 by 3 by 2 in. Injection molding process simulation - Moldflow Corporation Design, analysis, and production of injection molded parts can be simulated on the computer screen with a newly released software. Dynamic Series release 9.3 MF/OPTIM enables the user to specify the degree of acceptable sink mark or shear stress. In MF/COOL for gas injection molding users, the optimized cooling circuit design can be obtained and it will show if uniform mold cooling within the minimum cycle time is achieved. For production, Moldflow offers its programs Intelligent Process Control (IPC) and SmartMold, which was introduced for the first time at this years NPE show, to provide automatic optimization of process variables. These include machine setup and intelligent monitoring, as well as control of injection molding equipment.
